Good Week

Sorry that I haven't posted all week. I have been doing really good this week with my diet and walking. I went walking 2 days this week for a total of 6 miles. I also joined a app that is helping me keep my calories where they need to be so I can hit my goal weight. :) I have not gotten on a scale yet because I still need to go buy one. I hope I lost at least 1 lb this week.

Gage is 4 months!

So I took Gage in for his 4 mo checkup and he did great. He weighs a whooping 13 lbs 7 oz and is only 25 inches long. So by looking at D'alice and Tai's charts. Gage is my shortest and chunkiest. :) and I love it. He has these very chubby cheeks that you want to just pinch and the cutest little fat rolls on his thighs.

I love this little guy so much. It is so funny how often I think that he made our family complete. It is so true. I know in my heart that this is the little family I was meant to have.

Weekends Are to Short

OK so the last post about my 5 mile day well it did me in. I was so sore this weekend. And now I am getting a killer head cold :( I was not able to get to the gym today so I am going to head out and put a mile in with the boys and the stroller.

Back to the weekend. Saturday was a nice day for me. I was able to get out and go get an ice cream with Missa and just hang out and talk. Kev had a day full of March Madness and enjoyed just chilling at home. Sunday I got to take D'alice, Grandma Stokes and Aunt Myk to DISNEY ON ICE!! It was so much fun. This is my 3rd Disney on Ice and I have to say this one was by far my favorite. I will post pictures soon.

Day 2

So I stuck with it. I got up and made it to the gym at 6am once again today. I put in a mile on the elliptical then hurried back home. I was feeling so good that I decided to get the stroller out and time a few walks. I walked from my house to the gas station grabbed a Diet Mt. Dew and back home that took 25 mins . Then I walked to the river walk 8 mins. Then walked the river walk 1 hr both ways. When we got back home we used google map to map the distance for all of the walks. To walk to the gas station and back it is just over 1 mile. To walk to the river walk it was almost exactly a mile then the river walk is 1 mile both ways. So my total for the day was 5 miles!! I am a little sore now but I know it will pay off :) I think I am going to try and do that walk 2-3 times a week. I hope others will come and join me. If I can drop 20lbs by July that would be awesome! I really don't want to be the "fat" sister in all of the pictures at Kiera's wedding :)

New Year... New Me

Ok so it has been a year since I last posted. The reason I told myself I was to busy. Well I am not going to let that nasty little voice in my head tell me what I have time for or not.

So as most of you know I had my 3rd and final baby in November. Gage Makin Loveland. He is the cutiest little guy. He looks just like his daddy! Right down to the brown eyes!! I was so excited to finale have a brown eyed baby. Well with 3 kids keeping me busy all day everyday I am having a hard time finding time for myself. So here is what I am going to do for myself. I am going to get my body back and blog about it. I need the accountability or I wont do it. So here we go :)

Starting weight 179 lbs. I hope to never see that number again. I have been saying that I can't find time to go to the gym so today I got up at 5:30 fed and changed Gage. put him back to bed and headed to the gym instead of going back to bed like I always do. I only got in 30 mins on the eliptical but it was something and I am proud of that.

I am looking forward to the weather warming up because I am going to start a walking group. I will invite anyone who wants to come and join me but if no one can make it I will still go.

So here is to a New Year and a New Me :)

Going Crazy

So the kids have been going crazy being inside the house all winter so we decited to bundle up and go to the park and zoo and have a little lunch. The kids had so much fun and can't wait to do it again when it warms up and there are more animals out. Here are a few pictures of our day.

Fun Projects

So I have been working on some fun Easter/ Spring decorations and thought I would show them off. I have been working on Mod Podge and it is so much fun I just keep doing more things. So far I have done 12 eggs (all different) and a pot. I want to go get some letters and spell out easter for my next project.

BABIES EVERYWHERE!!

So for those of you who don't know.......I get to be an aunt on my side of the family for the first time!! But not just once but 3 times! My best friend of 18 years (so really my sister) is going to have a baby in September and......My little sister is going to have her TWINS in September. I am so excited!

Well to make things even more crazy I have a friend Due in June and she is having a BOY then a sister in law Due in Aug and she is having a Girl. Then 3 of my cousins are due this summer. I have a a crazy babyshower this June for 5 babies! I am working on some really cute carseat covers for all of them.

So for the next few months I am going to be working like crazy on baby blankets but I could not be more excited!

Disney on Ice

On Saturday D'alice and I were able to take Grandma Stokes and Aunt Mykie to Disney on Ice. It was a blast! D'alice was able to meet Princess Tianna and Cinderella. In the show we saw Cars, Lion King, Little Mermaid, and Tinkerbell.

Fun With Friends

Sunday March 7th we went to the bowling alley and had a fun get together with some friends from Qwest. Here is a fun slide show of some of the fun.

Valentines Day & The Birthday Party

This year the birthday party was on Valentines day. Every year this party last 6 hours and has music, games, food, cake and ice cream, and presents. My cousin Tori and I along with her fiancee Dan were in charge of the tye-die station. It was so much fun! Then I ran over to help my aunt Kelly with the water balloon toss. There were fun games for the older kids and the younger kids. There was coloring and musical chairs for the little kids. And then of course like every year the Pinata! D'alice was a little nervous to hit it this year but warmed up after the first hit. Then came my favorite part....Tres Leches! It is a cake that my aunt makes every year for the birthday party and it is the best you will ever eat! All in all it was a great party and we had a blast! Thanks Becky

Mesquite

Every year my aunt Becky has a huge birthday party for her 2 girls Sienna & Mya. We all drive down to Mesquite and have a long nice weekend. This year to save money Kevin and I decided to borrow His mom's expedition and have my family ride with us so we could save money on gas. It was so much fun to cram all of us in for a 7 hour drive. To break the ride up a bit we stopped in Nephi to visit my Grandma Belliston and have lunch. Once we got there Tai was so happy to see all of the people. D'alice could hardly wait to play with "my other friend Mya." It was a much needed vacation and we cant wait to go again next year!

Ice-Skating!!

So last week D'alice asked me if we would take her ice skating someday so on Saturday we took D'alice to the Eccles Ice Center. It was so much fun! One of us had to stay and be with Tai so Kevin chose to go skating with D'alice. The best part was to see her big smile and to hear her yelling "Im Skating, Im Skating!!" It was a lot of fun and I'm glad we took the time and had some fun as a little family.

Getting Better

So Tai had a doctors appointment today to check his saturation levels and he passed so.... NO MORE OXYGEN!!! I am so relived to not have to deal with all the tubes. He is still sick and we have to watch his breathing but other than that we are doing better!! Now all I need to do is lysol the whole house and hope no one else gets sick.

Tai has RSV

Ok so Tai started to get a cold last Friday and by Sunday night I just had a gut feeling that there was something really wrong. So at 7 that night we bundled the little guy up and took him to instacare. Well sure enough I was right he had RSV. So they sent us home with a Nebulizer and some medicine and asked us to follow up with his doctor to check his oxygen levels.
The next morning I call his doctor and we took him in at 11 and what do you know he had gotten worse. The doctor said that he would like to admit him to the hospital or I could get an at home oxygen machine. Well I dont like hospitals so I opted for the oxygen machine. So we had him on it all day and all night then took him back to the doctor this morning and he is not getting any better. The doctor told me that if I promise to keep him on the oxygen 24/7 then we can stay home. So as you can see by the pics we are just chilling at home trying to get better. We will let you know if anything changes.

Family Pictures

New Years Day we went to the mall and had family pictures taken at Kiddie Kandids. They do such a great job there I love going to them. This was the first year that D'alice did not cry and I was so excited as to how fast and easy it was. The kids pictures turned out great. I am so blessed to have such beautiful and healthy children.

Christmas 2008

This year we spent Christmas at Grandma & Grandpa Stokes. D'alice and Tai were really good this year and received a lot of fun things.
D'alice got a princess tent with a pillow and a nightlight, A little Mermaid vanity, and a Pink sled!
Tai got a red & white car that is a play center, some fun toys that light up, and a Curious George monkey. He lit up as soon as he saw his monkey. It is his favorite toy.
This year we were blessed to have family and friends with us and I just want to take the time to let everyone know how much each of you mean to us and we love you all! And to my little family, I am so blessed to have you in my life. I love you!

Christmas Eve 2008

This year the family Christmas party was at aunt Kelly's. This year Tai recived his Christmas gift from China! It was so cute, he got a little outfit and a par of pumas. D'alice got a princess piano. This year instead of gifts Pa & Jo gave the family's a calendar and a card letting us know they donated our gift money to the food bank and that the money the gave fed a family of 5 for 3 weeks. I thought that was an awesome gift! It made me feel good because this year the Loveland side of the family also made a big donation to a family in need. This year was a hard year for a lot of people and I feel great knowing that we helped others this Christmas season. It makes you remember what the real meaning of Christmas is.

Winter Fun

So far this winter has been a fun one for us. Starting with the first snowfall where D'alice had to get outside right away to make her snowman. She thought the snow was going to melt so she had to do it right then.
There was our trip down to Nephi to see the Bellistone side of the family. D'alice was able to sled with her cousin Chayton.
My favorite was the day after Christmas when we got over 2 feet of snow and we kidnapped Shaylee to have a snow day. We went sledding and then came home had Hot Chocolate and then back out to make a snowman. Hannah came over to help the girls make there snowman. Later that night D'alice told me that her snowman had a "butt crack" I asked her why it had a butt crack and she replied " Well I drew the crack in the back" I laughed so hard I cried.
So far it has been a blast and we still have plenty of snow to keep on playing.

Fall Time Fun and Halloween '08

D'alice and Tai were in such a good mood that we decited to go outside and play in the leaves. Tai loved eating the leaves and D'alice had a blast swinging on her swing. When the camera came out so did the goofy faces. It melts my heart to see how much my kids love each other. Tai's face just lights up when he see's his sister.

Halloween was not very much fun this year because D'alice has an extremely horrible fear of people in costumes. So we got a few cute pictures of D'alice as Cinderella and Tai as a Skunk but there was no trick or treating for us. However D'alice did have a lot of fun carving pumpkins with Grandma and Grandpa Stokes.
